Surf Tech IT acquires Citrus Computing following impressive organic growth.
Stourport-based IT company, Surf Tech, has added Citrus Computing to its family.
Enhancing its 25% organic growth year-on-year, the acquisition will further strengthen
Surf Tech’s presence in the region whilst providing a safe home for Citrus clients.
Breda Hadley established Bewdley-based Citrus Computing in 2011. It soon grew to become a trusted IT
provider in the area for small and mid-sized businesses. As an accredited Sage Business Partner, Citrus will add
complementary value to Surf Tech’s wide range of IT services.
Whilst all Citrus operations move to Surf Tech offices, the two brands will run side-by-side for the next 18
months. Citrus Computing service contracts remain in place and Breda has stayed on as a consultant during the
handover period. Jeremy Stables – familiar to all Citrus clients – also joins the Surf Tech team. He brings two
decades of IT experience, not to mention Sage accounting expertise.
Perfect cultural fit
The acquisition was an ideal match – the two IT companies share the same customer-first approach. Promising
“honest and personal” service they’ve both consistently delivered lightning-fast response and fit for purpose
provision.
Citrus clients will welcome Surf Tech’s proactive approach and larger support team. With ample in-house
technology, and automated monitoring as standard, the team often knows about a problem before the client.
Offering many services including IT, telephony, cybersecurity, cloud and on-premise solutions, Surf Tech has
become a one-stop technology shop for businesses in the West Midlands.

The acquisition completed in early December. Citrus personally informed all clients prior to the announcement,
